Oil on canvas

Step into the heart of naval history with my oil painting, a poignant depiction titled USS TEXAS (BB-35) in Drydock. This evocative scene captures a moment between March 14 and May 28, 1924, at the Norfolk Navy Yard. Against the canvas of a dark, leaden sky, the last remaining dreadnought battleship, USS Texas (BB-35), emerges as a resilient symbol of strength and endurance.

As you gaze upon this emotional painting, let it be a reminder to never give up, even in the face of challenges. The USS Texas stands as a beacon of fortitude, a symbol that echoes across time, encouraging all who encounter it to face adversity with unwavering determination.

May this artwork serve as an inspiration, a tribute to the enduring legacy of the USS Texas, and a visual testament to the resilience that resides within each of us.
