Anna Myronova
Anna Myronova was born in 1977 in Kyiv.
In 1997, she graduated from the Kyiv College of Arts and Crafts (now the M. Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Arts and Design) with a degree in “Design.”
In 2007, she completed her studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, specializing in Free Graphics under the supervision of A. V. Chebykin, earning a Master’s degree in Graphics.
She is engaged in painting, graphics, sculpture, and creates objects and photographs. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad since 2002.
She has 22 solo projects and has participated in more than 140 group exhibitions. Since 2008, she has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. She is an expert for the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine in the Visual Arts Department.
She holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Borys GrinchenkoKyiv University.
In 2007, she was awarded an Honorary Diploma by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine for her significant personal contribution to the creation of spiritual values and her high professional skills.
In 2008, she won 1st place in the “Painting, Graphics, Sculpture” category at the “Creative Youth Forum of Kyiv 2008,” organized by the Main Department of Family and Youth Affairs of the Kyiv City State Administration and the RA Gallery.
In 2015, she received a laureate diploma at the All-Ukrainian Graphics Triennial for her graphic work “Drought.”
In 2016, she was included in the Forbes list of the most successful contemporary Ukrainian artists under the age of forty.
In 2018, she became the laureate of the NUAU “Artist” award named after Oleksandr Danchenko, presented by the Association of Graphic Artists of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 2020, she received the 2nd degree diploma in the “Original Graphics” category at the 10th All-Ukrainian Exhibition-Competition named after Heorhii Yakutovych.
In 2021, she took 3rd place in the OFAM WALL national open competition for the creation of an art object that would inaugurate the updated exhibition of 20th-21st century art at the Odesa National Art Museum.
In 2021, she received a laureate diploma at the 9th All-Ukrainian Triennial “Graphics-2021” for her graphic work “Water.”
In 2021 and 2022, she was awarded a diploma with gratitude for her personal contribution to expanding creative communication and developing cultural relations between Ukraine and the world. Cultural Center of Ukraine in Belgium, 2022.
In 2023, she received a diploma for the best graphic work at the All-Ukrainian exhibition “Modern Art” in Ternopil.
In 2023, she received a 2nd degree diploma in the “Author’s Graphics” category for outstanding creative achievements in the field of graphic arts at the 13th All-Ukrainian Exhibition, 4th International Exhibition, Kharkiv, NUAU.
In 2024, she became the laureate of the 10th All-Ukrainian Triennial “Graphics-2024.”
In 2024, she received a 1st degree diploma in the “Original Graphics” category at the 11th All-Ukrainian Exhibition-Competition named after Heorhii Yakutovych. Her works are preserved in the collections of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Museum of the History of Kyiv, the Odesa National Art Museum, The Korsaks’ Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art, the National Center “Ukrainian House”, the Cherkasy Art Museum, the “Ukrainian Avant-Garde – Evolution” museum collection at the Museum of the History of Kyiv, the Dnipro Art Museum, the M17
Center of Contemporary Art, and other public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
She lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
